Bader Furniture Co, established by Rueben and Jacob Auker in 1890, has been in the Shebelsky family since Nicholas and Florence Shebelsky, purchased the business from Isaac Zartman in 1953. In 1972, their son David, joined his father in the day-to-day operation of the family business. In 1978, the family incorporated the business with David Shebelsky serving as President and his wife, Sherri, serving as Secretary-Treasurer. In 2005, Sherri Shebelsky became President after the untimely death of David Shebelsky, who is greatly missed.
Bader’s feature several galleries in its 22,000 sq. ft. of showroom space including Flexsteel, Cochrane, La-Z-Boy, and Howard Miller grandfather clocks. Other brand names carried are Craftmaster, Vaughan Bassett, Sealy, King Hickory, Peters-Revington, Hooker, and Stanley. We also carry a large variety of unique accessories many of which are purchased at the International Home Furnishings Market at High Point, North Carolina.
